— Vladimir TsakanyanVladimir "Vlad" Tsakanyan is Director and Researcher of the Cyberdiplomacy Strategy Program at CCD-IS (Center for Cyber Diplomacy and International Security), a political scientist specializing in cybersecurity policy, cyberdiplomacy, Russian policy, and Middle Eastern policy.
Previously, Vlad served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at RUDN University in Russia. He has contributed to various publications, including IA REX in Russia, and currently conducts independent political analysis and research at CCD-IS.
He is a member of the International Studies Association (ISA) and has presented at ISA conferences in Baltimore (2018) and Toronto (2019), as well as at the 2016 Pacific Conference on Politics, Law & Public Policy in San Mateo, CA.
Vlad holds a PhD in History and an MA in World Politics from RUDN University and Yerevan State University, and a BA in International Relations from Yerevan State University. He served as a Sergeant in the Armenian Army and is Founder of VVT California Inc.
